ShiftMass Systems is a Precision machine shop in Texas. All components are designed, machined, and assembled in-house.
Where It Came From
Factory engineers spend real time dialing in shift feel—mass, shape, and materials matched to the transmission and linkage. Most aftermarket options don’t follow that approach. In the aftermarket, even high quality knobs are generic, fixed-weight, or rely on adapters—built to work across many applications, not tuned for one.
The System
ShiftMass is built as a modular system:
A base that fits the correct threads for each application
Brass rings to adjust mass across a controlled range
Interchangeable heads that attach to the same base
Mass can be changed without replacing the assembly.
Heads can be swapped without changing fitment.
Build
Each part is machined and finished in-house.
Precision threads between components
Repeatable alignment between head and base
Consistent weight changes across the range
Every base works with every head—now and going forward.
